Viola Frances Bertreaux of Tahoka passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 75. She was born August 26, 1941 in Tahoka to William Franklin and Montie dee (Stanley) Lindsey. She attended Tahoka High School. Viola was a homemaker and opened her home as a daycare for many years until retiring. She was Nana to many. Viola married Earnest (Mickey) Bertreaux on December 24, 1958 in Tahoka.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Earnest; children, Mickey (Jerry) Thomas, Vickey Ford, and Nickey (Rick) Tyler, all of Lubbock, Rickey Bertreaux and Michelle (Ram) Rodriguez, all of Tahoka; brother, Sam Lindsey of Lubbock; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Roe) Fulgham of Big Spring and Kay Lindsey of Shallowater; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Tahoka.
