Helen Aguilar, 61, of Lubbock, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. She was born to the late Jesse and Mackie (Teran) Aguilar on April 19, 1956 in Lubbock. She loved to sew and was an avid baker. Helen was a Pharmaceutical Advocate for Community Health Center of Lubbock for over twenty-five years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Jesse Aguilar and wife, Minga, Nick Aguilar; sisters, Georgia Marin, and husband Tony, Connie Aguilar; nieces and nephews, Kailey, Michael, Vickie, Kristi, David, Jessica, and eight great nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Beola Ortiz, and one brother, Freddie Aguilar.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
