Orville Dewayne Jolly, 79, of Lubbock, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1937 in Tahoka, Texas to the late James Wesley and Dovie Lula (Bankston) Jolly. Jolly attended Tahoka High School, later moving to Lubbock. He married Glenda Tate in 1995. He retired after 20 years of work as a Welder for BTAC. He was an avid coffee drinker, a member of the National Rifle Association, and enjoyed spending time at the deer lease with friends.

Jolly is survived by his children, Billy Jolly and wife, Toni, Mike Jolly and wife, Elizabeth, Jeff Tate and wife, Shelly, and A'Leta Kaye Jolly Smith and husband, Mark; siblings, Frances Thomas, and Larry Jolly; Eleven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and his dog child, Hannah.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; brothers, Sonny, Roy, Bobby Ray, Jerry Don Jolly; daughter, Cindy Lee Luna.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Christian Life Assembly of God Church.
