Liberty Bloxom

Liberty James Bloxom, 51, of Lubbock passed away from his earthly home on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was born on February 9, 1972, in Miles City, Montana to Jeff Bloxom and Kathy Hollowell. Liberty grew up in Pampa, Texas and graduated from Pampa High School.

He was very outgoing, social, and loveable. Liberty was a member of many special Olympics teams including bowling, track, golf, and baseball. He was the life of the party who was often found riding his bike around the Lubbock State Supported Living Center campus. Liberty attended every dance held by the Living Center. He was a dedicated worker who served in the maintenance department and in the workshop.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Kathy Irvin; brother, Robert Jones; and numerous friends and caretakers.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Jeff Bloxom.

A funeral service honoring Liberty will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center Chapel.
