Lubbock

Adam Scott Pearson, 40, of Lubbock, Texas passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 2024. Adam was born on March 15, 1984, in Lubbock, Texas to Randy Lee Pearson and Sherena Renee Redmon.

Adam attended the Job Corp in Gutherie, Oklahoma where he graduated in 2000, majoring in graphic design. He was a hard-working man, who loved his family and friends with everything he had. He worked several jobs, starting in the medical field, being a Medical Assistant before going back to school for his EMT certification. He drove trucks for several companies and worked alongside his father as a welder.

Adam made friends wherever he was. A majority of his friends became a life-long family from riding his motorcycle with the motorcycle club, Calaveras. This group of individuals took Adam in, giving him the big family that he was always searching for. They gave him the road name, “Jesse James” not only because of his demeanor, but also his family ties to Jesse James. After moving back to Lubbock, Adam started hanging out with the motorcycle club, Cosa Nuestra, where they embraced him as part of their family.

Adam loved to be outdoors, from playing with his family to bow-hunting with his dad. He also loved music and was trying to learn how to play the guitar. He tried to sing but ended up being a clown. Making people laugh was one of the top concerns for him. He wanted everyone, that he came in contact with, to leave his presence with a smile on his/her face.

Those left to honor and cherish Adam’s life include his wife, Kaley, his three daughters Valerie, Embry and Meredith, and 2 sons Reas and Randy, his father, Randy (Sandra) Pearson of Weatherford, TX, mother Sherena Redmon of Louisville, KY, 2 sisters, Mandie (Brian) Lynn of Louisville, KY, and Haley Lively of Louisville, KY, 2 brothers, Andy (Diana) Pearson of Keene, TX and Benny (Holly) Conger of Lubbock, TX. Paternal grandparents, Lee and Linda Pearson, of Buffalo, TX. Maternal grandfather, Ralph Newton, of Louisville, KY, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lou Newton.

A celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on August 24, 2024, at Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.

Adam’s family is graciously asking, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is set up under Kaley Pearson at Wells Fargo Bank.
