Lubbock

Adam Charles Ridenour, a beloved son and brother, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the age of 44. He was born January 12, 1981, in Clovis, New Mexico to Sandy and Donna (Hastings) Ridenour. Adam grew up in Portales where he attended school. In his late teens, Adam moved to Louisiana where he worked for Walmart, later transferring to their location in Albuquerque and Lubbock making this his home in 2010. Most recently he has worked at University Medical Center. He considered this as his greatest, rewarding career where he had the privilege of helping patients, families, and fellow employees.

Adam was a Lego fanatic who enjoyed the challenge of building complex models and a talented guitar player. He was quick to give someone a hug and had a good sense of humor. Adam will be best remembered for his kindness, friendliness, and having a warm heart. He loved his family and was a devoted uncle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Sandy and Donna Ridenour of Lubbock; brothers, Evan Ridenour and wife Bianca Wormald of Albuquerque and Brian Ridenour and wife Cayce of Lubbock; aunts, Nancy Taylor and Susan Vincent and husband Steve; nieces and nephews, Porter, Aubrey, Silas and Nathan; cousins, Andrew, Michael, and Stephanie; his beloved cat, Dottie; as well as extended family that will miss him dearly.

Adam was preceded in death by his childhood best friend, Jeremy Gabbert in 2000.
