Adrianna Gillit

Adrianna Gillit passed from this world on July 11, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Lubbock, TX, January 19, 1968, to Max and Jane Gillit. Anna attended Frenship Schools and graduated from Lubbock Christian High School. She loved twirling, gymnastics, cheerleading, and horses when she was young. Her love of horses carried into adulthood when she rode with the Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding Center. Anna was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She had a contagious smile that she shared with all who knew her. Anna is survived by her parents, Max and Jane Gillit; her grandmother, Christine Studer; her brother, Michael Gillit, and his partner, Christine Robitschek; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family wants to thank the UMC – SICU nursing staff for their recent care and comfort and the many care providers over the years. Memorials can be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Cremation services under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes.
