Our beloved daughter, Amanda DeNae Ladd, passed away at home Wednesday, March 27, 2013 surrounded by her family at the age of 16. She was born July 16, 1996 in Lubbock to David and Kerri Ladd. Amanda was a junior at Frenship High School where she was involved in National Honor Society, the Latin Club and Theater. She also loved tennis. Amanda will best be known as being a fighter and having a courageous spirit.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, David and Kerri of Lubbock; two sisters, Maegan Baker and husband David of College Station and Lauren Williams and husband Chris of Abilene; niece, Lynnleigh Williams; grandmother, Nelwyn Ladd; uncles and aunts, Clifton Ladd and wife Lanita, Janelle Smith and husband James, Kathleen Davis, Laura Anciso and husband Robert, Wanda McLendon and husband Joe, and Irene Ladd; as well as numerous cousins.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clifton Ray Ladd, and one uncle, Larry “Rusty” Ladd.
Memorial services are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Ecclesia Church, 6007 66th Street in Lubbock.
