Angela Wampler

Angela Michelle Wampler, 54, of Lubbock passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born July 13, 1967 in Slaton, Texas to Robert Joseph and Lynda Kay (Cheney) Meurer. Angie grew up in Slaton and graduated from Slaton High School in 1985. She married Cecil Nolan Wampler on June 18, 1987 in Lubbock. Angie was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed caring for others. She worked as a dietary aide at several care facilities in Lubbock. Angie was the secretary of the Hub City Cruisers for two years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Nolan Wampler of Lubbock; daughters, Amanda (Muerer) Privitt and Jennifer Wampler also of Lubbock and four grandchildren, Hayden Privitt, Madyson Wampler, Alyssa Wampler and Emily Wampler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lynda Meurer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, February 25th at 2pm at Emerge Lubbock located at 8501 Ave P, Lubbock, Texas 79423.
