Austin Cooper

February 10, 1988 — January 11, 2022

Austin Lambert Cooper, 33 of Lubbock passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born February 10, 1988, in Midland, Texas to Kyle Lambert Cooper and Robin (Reed) Cooper. Austin graduated from Lubbock High School in 2006. He continued his education at the University of Alabama and Wayland where he received his Bachelor's in Business Administration. Austin was currently working on completing his Master's degree at Wayland Baptist University. He worked as an accountant. Austin enjoyed fishing, music, and spending time swimming with family. He especially enjoyed making people laugh, always cracking jokes. Austin was known for sending funny Tik Toks to everyone. He loved his family and was working on his sobriety. He was an Eagle Scout and a Christian man. His continuous humor, laughter and love will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Canyon and Case Cooper; his mother, Robin Cooper and fiancé Lonnie Neinast; father, Kyle Lambert Cooper and wife Ana; siblings, Kelsey Cooper and spouse Cale Fogerson; nephews, Pecos Cooper; niece, Memphis Fogerson; grandmothers, Corky Cooper, Brenda Reed; the mother of his children and friend, Jenna Atkinson and husband Mitchell; numerous extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jan Godwin, Jim Godwin, Sid Cooper, Lavoy Reed, and Iva Reed.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday January 21, 2022, at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
