Barbara Brasfield

Barbara Brasfield passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019.  She was born October 18, 1934 in New Home, Texas to Garland and Helen (Armontrout) Peek.  She worked as civilian personnel for Reese Air Force Base.  She married Charles Brasfield in 1955.

She is survived by: Charlie (Dora), David, and Susan Shelby, all of Lubbock; siblings, Jimmy (Judy) Peek, JoAnn Kieth, and Melody (Ron) Miller; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wynelle Fletcher.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with the family receiving friends 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
