Barbara Ann Briggs

Barbara Ann Briggs, 70, of Lubbock passed away November 26, 2019. She was born March 17, 1949 James and Jewel (Durant) Nichols in Poteau, OK. Barbara graduated with her LVN in 1980. She was a member of Heights Fellowship.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Traci (Dean) Loveless and Susan (Terry) Crews, both of Lubbock; her son, James (Mihui) Slawson, of Maryland; her sister, Debra Cunningham, of Lubbock; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Calvin, Chloe, Ethan, and Ryder; 3 great-grandchildren, Brittlyn, Brock, and Athena Rose; Uncle Bob, Aunt Glenda, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends that were all dear to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Mike; and sister, Janet Ellis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with Mike Martindale officiating and vocalist Mike Pritchard.
