Beatrice Daniel

Beatrice Daniel of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the age of 76.  She was born May 29, 1938 in Gadsden, Alabama to Willie Albert and Lavonia (Wester) Bodie.  Beatrice enjoyed reading, music, working crossword puzzles, fishing, and sewing.  She worked as a bookkeeper until retiring.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Betty McCallister of Lubbock and Sharon McCann-Kumpe and husband Matthew of Woodland Park, Colorado; two sons, Robert Dowdy and wife Julie of Idalou and J. D. Dowdy, Jr. and wife Debbie of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren;  five great-grandchildren; and  her poodle, Gigi.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth England; and a granddaughter, Morgen McCann.
