Bonifacio G. Ybarra, 96, of Anton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday night, July 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving two sisters, Josie and Frances. Bonifacio was born on March 14, 1928, in Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas, to the late Pedro Ybarra and Estanislada (Gallegos) Ybarra.

Those left to cherish and honor Bonifacio include his two sisters: Josie Servantez and Frances Guzman, both of Lubbock. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.  Bonifacio was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers:  Marcelo Ybarra and Victor Ybarra; and one sister, Lupe Mendez.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Anton, Texas.  Father Philip will be the celebrant. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory in Lubbock.
