Bonnie Joye Freeman, 78, of Lubbock passed away into her heavenly home on March 14, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1946 in Ohama, Nebraska to Marvin Baker and Corinne (Allen) Baker.

Bonnie grew up in Ohama, and lived there until moving to Lubbock. She graduated from Monterey High School. After graduation she worked as an executive assistant before retiring in 2017.

Bonnie’s hobbies included shopping, puzzles, and exercising. She was very social and was a friend to everyone she met. Bonnie loved to travel to Mexico. She was a member of the Christian faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Corinne Baker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bill Freeman; children, Rhonda Feron/Kevin Feron of Tulsa, OK, Tamara Beneze of Bedford, TX, and Billy Freeman of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Brents Feron, Blake Feron, Daniel Beneze, and Kayla Beneze, as well as a multitude of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Southwest Parkinson Society.
