Bruce Heine

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Allen Heine of Lubbock, Texas.  He passed on to eternal life at the age of 68 on June 14th, 2023.  Bruce passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loved ones.

Bruce was born September 14th, 1954, in Lubbock, Texas to Jerry and Carolyn Heine.  He graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell, New Mexico in 1972.  Bruce is survived by his mother, Carolyn Heine of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Rena Smith of Lubbock, Texas, his daughter, April Walker and her husband Russell Walker and their children, Peyton, Madison, and Isabella of Lubbock, Texas, his daughter, Aspen Higgins and her husband Ben Higgins and their children, Kaena and Ellie, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, his siblings, Randy Heine, Kent Heine, Chris Heine, and Joan Grimes.  His passing was preceded by his father, Jerry Heine, and his older brother Stacey Heine.

The family will hold a memorial service and welcome visitors on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Junior League of Lubbock, at 4205 84th St, Lubbock, TX 79423.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made in honor of Bruce A. Heine to the following charities:  the Red Bud Lions Club of Lubbock, the Texas Lions Camp, the American Diabetes Association, or the American Heart Association.
