Carliss Mac Wittie

Carliss Mac Wittie of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the age of 57.  He was born February 21, 1957 in Morton to the late Herman and Vivian (Melton) Wittie.  Carliss completed many special projects for L&D Industries and worked as a custodian for Shallowater ISD.  He never met a stranger and was a friend to all.  Carliss was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Shallowater.

Those left to cherish his memory are three brothers, Randall Wittie and wife Belinda of Galt, CA, Royce Wittie and wife Diane of Wolfforth, and Arlice Wittie and wife Judy of Monahans; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

 Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with the family receiving friends 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Levelland.
