Carol Eineichner

January 16, 1939 — April 16, 2024

Loving mother, Carol Lee Eineichner, passed away in Lubbock, Texas on April 16, 2024 at age 85, from complications of stroke and related health issues.

Carol Lee was born to Mae and Harvey Barncord on January 16, 1939 in Emporia, Kansas. Tragically, Harvey passed a year later, leaving Mae to raise Carol and her two sisters during the Great Depression. Times were difficult, but Mae found work at Bird's Eye Frozen Foods in Yakima, Washington so she moved her little family there. In Yakima, Mae met and married Paul Krienke, who Carol affectionately called Pops. He was a wonderful step-father to Carol. The family re-located to Buckley, Washington where Carol attended White River High school and enjoyed being a cheerleader as well as active in several of the social clubs there. After graduating from High School Carol attended Knapp Business College. It was during this time that she met a handsome Navy Petty Officer by the name of Charles (Chuck) Eineichner, who captured her heart and they were married. Chuck and Carol settled in Puyallup and had two children, Charles and Trudy.

Carol utilized her Knapp Business training throughout her life as she worked in sales, kept records for Chuck's Floor Covering business, and worked for over twenty years as receptionist at a doctor's office. Later in her life she worked at various schools as a para-educator and also with Lutheran Community Services transporting elderly patients to their medical appointments.

Carol had many interests, but her passion was reading. She loved reading about history. Particularly World War 2 history as well as the history of the Old West. Carol also liked to make comfort food with a Southern flair that she learned from her mother, ham hocks and beans, pot pies, and ox tail soup were family favorites and she made the best carrot cake around!

Carol was introduced to Jesus early in her life and she had a steadfast love and faith in Him. She was the spiritual hub of her family, always teaching her children and grandchildren about Jesus and praying with us frequently. Ever ready with a smile, encouraging words and a Bible verse, Carol was a beacon of hope and a positive ambassador of her Christian faith in our Lord and Savior. Although she had the opportunity to attend several churches over the years, she recalled her years at Longbranch Community Church in Lakebay, Washington where she met Pastor John Day, as well as many friends, with much fondness. She also dearly loved her church family at 12th Street Church of Christ at Shallowater, Texas where she resided the last 6 years. She loved to hear David Pounds preach and teach from the Bible and spoke frequently about his sermon messages. Carol fit right in with this special group of people, who love the Lord Jesus and reflect that love in their words and actions.

Carol was a positive and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family and was always ready to listen, provide counsel, and humor as needed. Her presence in our lives will be vastly missed, but her memory will be forever in our hearts. Carol is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Chuck, and leaves behind her children, Charles(Becky) Eineichner, Trudy (Wayne)Reneman, and her beloved grandchildren, Benjamin Eineichner, Kyle Reneman, and Renee (Tom) Gomez.

There will be a memorial service for Carol on Tuesday, April 23, beginning at 2 pm at 12th Street Church of Christ, 1001 12th Street, Shallowater, Texas. Carol will be interred next to her husband at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.

Matthew 25:23: His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord."
