After retirement in 2000, Carolyn loved spending time at their cabin in Eagle Nest, NM with her family and galpal gang, walking the dogs, and eating peanut m&ms. She embraced the role of Mama C as the grandkids came along by hosting and babysitting. After John retired, they moved to Granbury in 2008 to a house on the Brazos river that was perfect for entertaining the grandkids and hosting all of the family with fun on the river and shopping in the square.
