Carolyn Joe Price

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Carolyn Joe Price, on March 18th, 2025. Surrounded by loved ones, she left this world peacefully at the age of 88, leaving behind a legacy of love, love for her precious Lord and Savior, kindness, and countless treasured memories.

Born on December 16th, 1936 in Dallas, Texas, Carolyn was a gentle soul with a fierce devotion to the Lord, her church and her family. She lived a life filled with gratitude for the blessings God bestowed upon her, finding deep joy in the time spent with her beloved family, faithfully serving the Lord, and lovingly guiding and supporting her church. Her unwavering commitment to her faith and family, and her compassion for others touched the lives of all who knew her.

Carolyn worked in the banking industry for many years followed by seven years as a pharmacy technician, but above all, her goal in life was to raise and love her family.

She is survived by a brother, Dan Huffaker and wife Gabriella, Teresa Howard, husband Jeff of Anton, TX, Karen McAleer, husband Pat of El Paso, TX, Jana Neighbors, husband Michael of Anton, TX, Denise Broadstreet, husband Curtis of Lubbock, TX, Chad Price, wife Bree of Lubbock, Tx, fourteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever carry her love and wisdom in their hearts. She is reunited in peace with her father C.J. Huffaker, mother Isla Rhea Huffaker, brother Owen Huffaker, husband Glynn Price, son Harold Dean Dosher, Jr.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 at Twelfth Street Church of Christ in Shallowater, TX, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Though she is no longer with us, the warmth of her love, compassion, and the strength of her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.
