Charlotte Curry

Charlotte Curry of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the age of 68.  She was born July 10, 1945 in Lubbock, Texas to Hal Rubin and Geraldine (Bailey) Curry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in case management where she was employed as a social worker for many developmentally disabled care facilities within the area. Charlotte and Camille celebrated their union on June 26, 1993.Charlotte enjoyed wood carving, was a member of the Wood Carvers Association and a member of Cooper United Methodist Church. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her spouse, Camille Shanks; two daughters, Laura Slate and husband Gary, Amie Hagood and husband, Robert; one brother, H.W. Curry and wife, Connie; two grandchildren.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at  11:00 a.m. at Cooper United Methodist Church.
