Cheryl Liana (Hunter) Wiseley

Cheryl Liana (Hunter) Wiseley passed away January 7, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. She was born May 21, 1944, to Elbert Aubrey and Marguerite (Newbery) Hunter, in Bartlesville, OK. Cheryl graduated from Phillips High School, Phillips, TX, in 1962. She continued her education at Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and graduated in 1966.  Cheryl became a computer programmer, when computers were just beginning, and spent her career in this field. She was enjoying retirement at the time of her passing.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Marguerite, a brother, Gene Hunter, and her partner, Jay Schaefers. Those remaining to cherish her memories are her sister, Michele Newsom, a niece Elyse Newsom, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Hunter, a niece, Christine Dodds (Jeff), a nephew, Daniel Hunter, and a grand-nephew, Hunter Gene Dodds.
