Christina Gonzalez

Christina B Gonzalez was born on December 6, 1979, to Noe and Lisa Gonzales of Idalou Tx.

Christina was a caring daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world suddenly on January 19, 2022, at the young age of 42.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Christina. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness. She loved video gaming. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere and will be deeply missed by many. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Her bright smile will surely be missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noe J Gonzales Jr; daughter, Jocelynn Lea Gonzalez; grandfather, Noe J Gonzalez Sr; and grandparents, Oscar Saenz Sr and Susie Yzaguirre. She is survived by her fiancé, Jose Soto; son, Joshua Lee Gonzalez; mom and stepdad, Lisa and Ramiro Cervantez Jr.; grandmother, Zenaida Gonzalez; her two sisters, Gracie Pena (Chris Pena) of Austin Tx, and Veronica C Gonzalez (Raymond Charles) of San Antonio, Tx; and 5 nephews and nieces, Curtis A Diaz Jr (CJ) Cayden Diaz, Christopher Pena, KylieRae Charles and Gia Pena.

Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022 at St. Philip Catholic Benizi Church in Idalou. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022, also at St. Philip Catholic Benizi Church, with inurnment to follow at Idalou Cemetery. The family requests flowers from The Busy Bee in Idalou.
