Dale Johnston

Dale Wayne Johnston, 76, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born December 10, 1945, in Houston, Texas to Garland Haywood Johnston and Helen Ruth Beavers. Dale graduated from Orange High School in 1963. He went on to attend Texas Christian University where he was an offensive lineman for the football team from 1964 to 1968. Dale served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. Dale was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Todd Johnston and Gregory Johnston both of Lubbock; and five grandchildren, Laura, Benjamin, Anna, William, and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Raylin Johnston.
