Dana Bowser, 53, of Lubbock, and loving wife of Brad Bowser, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Dana was born on March 19, 1971, to the late Fred Hatter and Judy (Shaw) Hatter.
Dana attended Guymon High School, graduating with the senior class of 1989. She later enrolled in the Methodist School of Nursing, where she graduated with an associate’s degree in nursing in 1997.
Dana worked in the nursing field for over 25 years. She loved her family, liked to travel everywhere and sports when her children were involved. She loved spending time with friends, was a very social person, and loved gardening flowers. Per the family, Dana can be summed up in these words: fun, loyal, loving, joyous, strong, amazing and resilient.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her husband, Brad; one son, Ben Bowser; one daughter, Berkley Bowser, all of Lubbock. Also surviving her is one brother, Darren Hatter and wife Amy of Clinton, Oklahoma and a sister, Darcie Coulson and husband Jordan of Amarillo, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Venue on Broadway (next to Combest Family Funeral Home), 2202 Broadway, Lubbock TX. Elizabeth Abraham will be the officiant. Cremation arrangements and memorial services are under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to the Joe Arrington Cancer Center in Lubbock, TX.
