Darrell Glen Roberson

Darrell Glen Roberson, 58, of Bonham, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  Darrell was born on December 9, 1964, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Jimmy Roberson and Marjorie (Jones) Roberson.

Darrell was an I-Pad fanatic, especially on Facebook.  He was an avid sports guru, especially baseball and football.  His favorite was his Texas Tech Red Raiders, followed by the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He was brought up in the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory include two sisters, Shelia Bargas and her husband Raul, of Bonham, Texas and Myra Fassett and her husband Don of McMinnville, Oregon.  He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.  Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and a twin sister, Cheryl Mendez.

A time of reflection and visitation for Darrell will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in the Oak Crest Suite of Combest Family Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Reverend L. J. Wright, of New Home Baptist Church, will be the officiant.  Final rites and interment are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Home.
