David Hrncirik

David Swayne (Scooter) Hrncirik, age 62, passed away on July 13, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. David (Scooter) was born March 16, 1960, in Seymour, TX, to Rudolph Anton and Madelyn Diane (Dunford) Hrncirik. He graduated from Window Rock High School, in Window Rock, Arizona.

Scooter lived on the Navajo Reservation, in Window Rock, AZ. He went to school with the Navajo Indians, learning their way of life as well as their language. Scooter learned to make Navajo jewelry and helped his mother in selling the jewelry. Scooter did not limit his ability in working with his hands to just Navajo jewelry, he also was an avid assembler of model cars and trucks, working with wood, and also designing jewelry. In his spare time, Scooter enjoyed fishing.

Scooter was preceded in death by his father, R.A. Hrncirik Jr., his paternal grandparents, R.A. Hrncirik Sr., and Bertha Hrncirik; his maternal grandparents, Swayne Dunford and Madelyn Brown. Those left to cherish his memory are: his mother, Diane Dunford-Hrncirik-Jinks, an Aunt, Suzette Luker, a cousin, Chris Luker and his wife Norma.
