David Lancin

David Brian Lancin, 63, of Lubbock, Texas peacefully passed away April 30th, 2023, surround by his family. David was born March 24, 1960, in Clovis, New Mexico to Herbert Lancin and Maggie (Ervin) Lancin.

David worked as an auto porter, which he loved because he could be around all types of vehicles. When he wasn’t at work, he could be found in the garage working on cars of his own. He enjoyed attending races, barbequing, watching football, or throwing softballs with loved ones. He also loved country dancing the night away.

He is survived by his mother Maggie Lancin, of Lubbock, Tx; daughter Shelby Lancin of Guthrie, OK; sons Brian Lancin of Lubbock, Tx and Brandon Lancin and wife Crystal of Bedford, Tx; granddaughter Hadley Lancin; sister Laura Rowland of Lubbock, Tx; nieces Dyan Covington and Mikala Rowland; nephew Dylan Rowland; and many beloved family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Herbert Lancin.

A celebration of life service for David will be held Monday, May 15th, at 11:00 a.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.

Cremation services are under the direct care of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
