David Allen Palmer

On May 13, 2013 David Allen Palmer passed on to walk with the angels in heaven.  He was born March 8, 1951 in Plainview to Robert and Dorothy Palmer.  David graduated Plainview High School in 1970.  He married Vickie Viann Sheppard on May 28, 1970 in Plainview.  David attended diesel college in Denver, Colorado, Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, and South Plains College in Levelland.  David served our country in the U.S. Air Force.  He has been a member of the Elks Lodge since 1989.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Vickie; mother, Dorothy Palmer; sister, Jill and husband James Durham; brother Glen Palmer; daughters, Amy and husband Bryan Attebury and Amber and husband Gabriel Molina; grandsons, Cory Thomas, Jacob Attebury, and Luke Molina; and granddaughters, Brittany Attebury, Jaycie and Amilee Thomas.

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Palmer, and sister-in-law, Glenda Palmer.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the New Deal Fire Department, 105 Main on FM 1729.
