David Stokes, Sr.

David Stokes, Sr., of Lubbock passed away on July 24, 2013 at the age of 59.  He was born March 3, 1954 in Germany to Harry and Reba (Perkins) Stokes.  He was a Vietnam veteran who loved to ride motorcycles as a young man.  David loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and family cookouts.

Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Cheryl Noyes of Vermont, Charlotte Benjamin of New Hampshire, and Charity Dempsey of Missouri; three sons, David and wife Latasha Stokes, Jr., Justin, and Anthony; three brothers, Ashley Stokes of Pennsylvania, Joe Stokes of California, Eddie Stokes of Tennessee. 

David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ricky Stokes.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
