David Trevino aged 65 passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Lubbock Texas. He was born November 18, 1958, in Big Spring, Texas to Elisa and Rafael Trevino.
He attended Lubbock High School. He moved to Dallas Texas where he worked as scaffold builder and brick layer for many years, before retiring and returning to Lubbock.
David enjoyed sharing stories, drinking beer, and visiting his family. He really enjoyed being the Passenger King, He didn't care who was driving even if you were not old enough to drive so he could enjoy the ride. His sense of humor was something that we will never forget. He enjoyed watching Maury and drinking his coffee. His all-time favorite thing to do was cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Tech. If there was a game on TV David was to not be bothered and if you were cheering for the other team, you couldn’t even come in the house.
David's all time favorite memory was watching the Texas Rangers win the World Series.
He was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Elisa and Rafael Trevino.
David is survived by his son Joel and wife Kristi Trevino, Brothers; Robert Trevino, Hilbert Trevino, and Ernest Trevino of Lubbock, Manuel Trevino of Dallas; Sister, Lucinda Trevino of Mesquite; Niece, but more like a sister; Mary Lou Trevino-Davila of Forney; Granddaughter Ava Barnes of Lubbock and many nieces and nephews.
