David Branch Fairly

David Branch Fairly, 68, of Shallowater, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023.  He was born on July 8, 1954, in Karnes City, Karnes County, Texas, to the late Robert Branch Fairly and Avis Delane (Creswell) Fairly.

David attended Coronado High School, graduating with the Senior Class of 1974.  He was a rancher for many years, in addition to being a licensed plumber.  David was an avid Texas Tech Red Raider fan when it came to football.  He loved country music dancing, karaoke, building and fixing things.  He built his own home for his family and was a jack of all trades.  David was raised up in the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory include two daughters, Kayla Bouffard and Kara McKay, both of Lubbock; two sons, Thomas Branch Fairly and Benjamin Fairly, both of Lubbock; two brothers, Hugh Fairly of Frisco and Billy Fairly of Lubbock, and eight grandchildren.  David was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Bree Fairly, two sons, Cole and Drew Fairly; one brother, Robert Fairly; two sisters, Ruby Shupper and Flo Neumayer.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Church on the Rock South Campus.  Sammy Gardner will be the officiant.  Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
