Debbie Ann Vera

Debbie Ann Vera of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the age of 38.  She was born August 14, 1974 in Dalhart to Raymond David and Triney Rosalee (Romero) Vera.  Debbie attended Dalhart public schools until the age of 21.  She then transition to the Lubbock State School and has lived at Daybreak since 1989.  Debbie enjoyed looking at magazines, had a colorful collection of pillowcases, and loved Elmo.  She attended Daybreak Habilitation Program and the Dalhart Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sisters, Della Vera of Lubbock, Toni Pirelli and Esther Rosado and husband Salvador, all of Amarillo; two half-sisters, Lucy Chavez of Albuquerque, NM and Dorothy DeHerrera of Clayton, NM; and three nephews, Frankie Pirelli, Chase Rosado and Quincy Rosado.

Debbie was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond David Vera in 1970; her mother, Triney on July 13, 2009; and her father, Raymond on August 22, 2012.

Viewing will be from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at

Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens.
