Dianna Cook, 60, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 31, 2024, after a sudden illness. She was born on August 3, 1963, in Dumas, Texas, to Quincy and the late LaJuan Lamb.
She attended Coronado High School and graduated with her senior class of 1981.
Dianna met Terry Cook, the love of her life, and they were united in marriage on October 9, 1983, in Idalou, Texas. Terry preceded her in death on May 18, 2023.
Dianna loved football, especially her Dallas Cowboys. She was known for making her diamond art. She loved to go fishing, but most of all she loved her nephew Nicholas Lamb and niece Brylee Nelson and all her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her father, Quincy Lamb and Linda Lamb of Lubbock; two sisters: Carla Lamb of Lubbock and Sunni Lamb of Lubbock, as well as nephew Nicholas Lamb and niece Brylee Nelson, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and husband.
The family is in the process of planning a celebration of life memorial service for a later time.
