Dionica "Nicha" Gonzalez

Dionicia “Nicha” Gonzalez of Tahoka formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the age of 90.  She was born February 6, 1924 in Mission, Texas to Juan and Felicitas (Vasquez) Martinez.  She married Antonio Gonzalez in Detroit, Michigan. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Candido Ybarra (Paulina), Dora Y Rodriguez (Francisco), Frances B. Ybarra, Pedro Ybarra, Santiago Ybarra (Gail), Diana Angel, Nora Goetzinger (Keith), Samuel Ybarra, Elizabeth Ybarra, Marie (Josie) De Los Santos (James), Rogelio Martinez(Dana), Joel Ybarra, Leo Ybarra and Delfina Ybarra; twenty eight grandchildren; fifty five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Saint Jude Catholic Church with interment to be at Nevels Memorial Cemetery.
