Donald Eugene Jett, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 31, 2023. He was born on December 1, 1954 in Eloy, AZ and took his last in Odessa, TX. Donald was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many.

Throughout his life, Donald exuded warmth and kindness. He was a devoted family man who cherished his role as a husband and father above all else. His unwavering love and support were evident in every interaction he had with his wife and children. Donald's family was his world, and he spared no effort to ensure their happiness and well-being.

A man of many traits, Donald had a wide range of interests and hobbies. You would often find him outside piddling on whatever he could find, fully embracing the joy that came from working with his hands. Whether it was fixing something around the house or tinkering with his tools in the garage, he found solace in these moments of productivity and creativity.

Donald's warm heart extended beyond his immediate family. He built strong bonds with his siblings Ronnie and Jimmy throughout their lives. Their shared experiences created an unbreakable bond that brought them comfort in times of both laughter and sorrow. Donald's parents, J.C. and Juanita Jett, played an integral role in shaping the compassionate man he became.

His legacy lives on through the generations he leaves behind. Donald is survived by his beloved wife Virginia Jett; his daughters Katrina Phillips (and spouse Josh), Jj Jett, Loretta Crane (and spouse Robert), and Mary Jett; his sister Peggy Roach; sisters Margaret Macias (and spouse Faustino) and Brenda Sterling (and spouse George); his granddaughter Kymberlee Dinwiddie (and spouse Tyler granddaughters Chloe Seymour, MacKenzie Seymour, Ashleigh Hughes, Lacey Seymour; his grandson Ethan Jett; and his great-grandchildren Presleigh Anthony, Brantley Anthony, and Hadlee Dinwiddie. Each one of them holds memories of Donald's unwavering love and kindness.

As we bid farewell to Donald Eugene Jett, let us remember the impact he made on our lives. He was a beacon of love and compassion, spreading warmth wherever he went. Though his presence may be missed, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Donald's life has been scheduled for Friday, January 5th, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Combest Family Funeral Homes Chapel located at 2210 Broadway Lubbock, TX 79401.
