Donald Gene Williams

Donald Gene Williams of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the age of 83.  He was born January 26, 1931 in Farmington, New Mexico to Jesse and Josephine (Boerner) Williams.  Donald served in the U. S. Army and after honorable discharge; he worked in the auto body business for 39 years.  He married Rose Ann Davis on July 25, 1975 in Lubbock.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 38 years, Rose Ann; daughters, Donna Dodd of Victoria, TX, Kathy Peterson of Lubbock, Terry Strickler of New Port Richy, FL, and Jeana Strickland of Urbana, OH; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  Donald was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lee Williams; and one grandson.

 Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
