Donnie Lee Cowan

Donnie Cowan of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the age of 46.  He was born December 1, 1967 in Lubbock to Don Edward and Elsie (Woodward) Cowan. He worked in the maintenance department for an apartment complex and nursing home. Donnie was of the Baptist faith. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Elsie; two sons, Dustin Cowan and wife Pauline, and Rusty Cowan all of Lubbock; two sisters, Patricia Cowan of Lubbock and Stacy York of Athens; one granddaughter, Selena Isabella Cowan of Lubbock.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Don; and his grandmother, Frances Roberts.

Visitation with the family will be 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with no funeral services scheduled at this time.
