Douglas Ray Taylor

Douglas Ray Taylor of Tahoka passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the age of 63.  He was born August 1, 1950 in Haskell to Billy Ray and Nina Fay (Cheney) Taylor.  His passion and love was farming and cattle.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when it came to fishing, snow skiing or water skiing.  Douglas also took every opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Sweet Street Baptist Church in Tahoka.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lori Densford and husband Darren of Lubbock; son, Craig Taylor and wife Katy of Wilson; brother, Jeffrey Taylor and wife Glenda of Levelland; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Mitchell, Brayson, Raygin, and Ryan; and one great-grandchild, Laityn.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Taylor.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 at Sweet Street Baptist Church.
