Eddie Martinez, Sr., 58, of San Marcos passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born October 15, 1963, in Lubbock to Trinidad B. and Ramona (Rodriguez) Martinez. Eddie was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Marriot in Austin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his 5 children, Eddie Martinez, Jr., Marcos Martinez, Michelle Martinez, Jeannetta Martinez, and Vanessa Martinez; his high school sweetheart, Senaida Ramos; 6 brothers; 1 sister; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Ramona Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel from 1-8pm with Rosary being recited at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.
