Eleazar Alex Martinez

Eleazar “Alex” Martinez of Wolfforth passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the age of 44.  He was born June 7, 1970 in Brownfield to Ernest Martinez, Sr. and Angie (Rosales) Martinez.  Alex graduated from Ropesville High School and worked as a maintenance operator in the construction business.  He was full of life and loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diana Martinez; children, Michael Mata, Dominic Martinez, and Angelica Martinez; step-children, Mike Sandoval, John Aguilar, and Tiffanee Sandoval; parents, Ernest Martinez, Sr. and Angie Martinez; siblings, Ernest Martinez, Jr. and Elizabeth Bray; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at New Life Baptist Church in Wolfforth with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow.
