Fernanda Moya Apolinar

Fernanda Moya Apolinar (54) passed away August 14, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. She was born February 15, 1970, to Juan and Amparo (Torres) Moya, in Houston, TX. Fernanda dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker, a career that she approached with love and tireless dedication. Fernanda found joy and relaxation in playing bingo and visiting casinos. She cherished moments playing loteria with her grandchildren and creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy.

Fernanda is survived by a loving family: her husband Antonio Apolinar; her children, TJ Apolinar, Robert Apolinar, and Enrique Apolinar; her many grandchildren; and her relatives, Juan Moya, Frankie Capelin, and Joe Moya. Fernanda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Juan Moya Sr. and Amparo Torres. Fernanda will be remembered for her warm spirit, her generosity, and her unwavering commitment to her family. Her legacy of love and caring will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren. 

The Apolinar family will honor and celebrate the life of Fernanda with visitation from 1:00pm-7:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 20-21, 2024, at Combest Family Funeral Home Chapel, in Tahoka. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, August 22, 2024, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1829 S 4th St, Tahoka, TX 79373, with burial following, at Nevels Cemetery.
