Fernando Trevino, 76, of Lubbock, formerly of Alice, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 14, 2022. Fernando was born to the late Jose Ignacio Trevino and Angelita (Salgado) Trevino on August 10, 1945, in Alice, Texas.
He met Janie DeLeon, the love of his life, and they were married on July 26, 1968, in Abilene, Texas.
Mr. Trevino was a professional painter and was well known for his dedication and high standards when it came to his work. He loved old machines and painting was his true calling. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church and he served in the United States Air Force.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janie; one son, Marvin Trevino of Ohio; one brother, Joe Trevino of Ft. Worth, four sisters, Adelaida (Alex) Garcia and Esmeralda Perez of Alice, Diana (Frank) Ortiz of Corpus Christi and Belinda Chapa of Orange Grove; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricardo Trevino.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
