Francisco Rodregues

Francisco (Frank) Rodregues met the Lord and reunited with his wife, Ernestina on January 31st, 2024. He was born in Del Valle, TX, to the late Margarito Rodregues and Carmen Pulido. Franscico and Ernestina were married on November 7th, 1959, in Lubbock, TX. They had 8 children.

Frank enjoyed fishing and playing the accordion. He was a long-time musician. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His favorite place to visit was Austin to eat barbeque in Lockhart. Frank will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Diane Urrutia (Santiago), Lucy Arguello, both of Idalou, TX, and Edna Caballero (Mark) of Lubbock, TX; 3 sons, Freddy Rodriguez (Norma) of Mission, TX, Felix Rodriguez of Lubbock, TX, and Frankie Rodriguez (Hope) of Idalou, TX; 12 grandchildren, Amanda, Servando, Bobby, Alysha, Monica, Janeille, Brandon, Mark, Nicholas, Asher, Freddy Jr., and Moses; 8 great-grandchildren, Servando, Annalise, Serenity, Areley, Aliyah, Bianca, Gracelyn, and Dalton; 1 sister Ysidra Chagolla; 1 brother Lupe Rodregues (Elisa), both of Idalou.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ernistina Rodregues; 2 brothers Margarito, Jose Angel; son-in-law, Ramon Arguello; and grandson, Mark Jr. Caballero; and Frank Jr. and Dalia.

A time of visitation will be held Monday, February 5th at The Venue on Broadway from 1:00pm – 8:00pm with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 6th, at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Idalou, TX, at 10:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Idalou Cemetery.
