Georgia "Goya" Perez Cedillo

Gregoria “Goya” Perez Cedillo, 82, of Petersburg passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019. Goya was born September 13, 1937 in Travis, Texas to Sotero and Teresa (Flores) Perez.  She married Joe Moralez Cedillo in 1955 in Rosebud, Texas. She moved from Rosebud to Petersburg in 1958. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Janie Olbeda and husband, Adan of Petersburg, Terri Esquivel and husband, Mike of Plainview, Joe Cedillo, Jr and wife, Delia of Petersburg, Ellie Contreras and husband, Roy of Lubbock, Mary Mireles of Lubbock and Freddy Cedillo and wife, Dondi of Lubbock; brother, Geronimo Perez and wife, Maria of Slaton; 28 Grandchildren; 44 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sotero and Teresa Perez, her husband, Joe Cedillo, son, Manuel Cedillo, and five Grandchildren, Gregory, Michael, Hector, MaryJoseph and Michael Brandon.

A visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 5^, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with a rosary at 6:30 at Venue on Broadway. Mass will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Petersburg, Texas with burial to follow at Petersburg Cemetery.
