Gloria Garza

Gloria Garza of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the age of 52.  She was born June 7, 1961 in Slaton to Antonio and Sylveria Luna. Gloria worked as a custodial foreman for Texas Tech University for over 20 years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sylveria; daughters, Lisa Salinas of Lubbock and Veronica Garza of Amarillo; sons, Celestino, Carlos and Rudy Garza, all of Lubbock; daughter-in-law, Jamie Curtiss; son-in-law, Augustine Cristan; brothers, Joe, Christian, and Tony Luna; sisters, Alice Luna, Toni Ortega, Lupe Morales, Rosalinda Luna, Lucinda Jara and Annmarie Luna; and 11 grandchildren, Martin, Izaiah, Jacob and Gabriela Ramirez, Anthony and Dominic Garza, Isaac and Elijah Garza, Nathaniel Flores, Avah and Avery Cristan.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Antonio; son-in-law, Eric Salinas; maternal grandparents, Margarito and Vicenta Renteria; niece, Lucia Morales; one brother, Jesse Luna; and one sister, Angela Luna.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.  Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
