Guenith Beedy

Guenith entered this life on September 28, 1932, in Hale Center, to Reuel Merlin and Ethel Amie (Lusby) Craig. She passed from this life December 17, 2021, in Lubbock. Guenith was the fourth of six children. She married Doug Beedy, they were blessed with one daughter, Cindy. Upon his death, in 1954, she moved to Lubbock and embarked upon a career as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell/AT&T. Guenith retired from this position after 30+ years. Throughout her years, she had a love for books and the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Rusher of Lubbock.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St. Pauls Chapel, 4011 University Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79413, to honor the life of Guenith.
