Hallie Taylor Kirtland

Hallie Elizabeth Taylor Kirtland of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the age of 45. She was born March 17, 1979, in Athens, Texas. Her parents were David and Deborah (Buster) Turner of Lubbock. At a young age the family moved to Lubbock where she graduated from Monterey High School in 1997. Hallie has worked for Bolton Oil Company for seven years as a valuable part of their team. During her recent diagnosis, the Bolton family was faithful to come visit and spend time with her.

 Hallie will be best remembered for the love she showed to those around her, especially to her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from nurturing her children and grandchildren, always putting their needs above her own. Hallie often carried the weight of other people’s burdens. Her heart and love for everyone will be greatly missed.

 Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Ron; children, Kayla Turner, Kaeden Taylor and wife Corley, and Faith Zapata, all of Lubbock; (Brother) David Turner, II and wife Jeannette of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; Paw Paw, her favorite father-in-law, Richard Taylor.

 Hallie was preceded in death by her parents, David S. Turner, Sr. in 2018 and Deborah Turner in 2020; and sister, Priscilla Turner, in 2019.

 Visitation will be from 1:30 – 6:00 on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway with the family receiving friends 1:30-3:00 pm. Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday, October 14, 2024, at Venue on Broadway with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
