Helen Thomas Snider

Helen Thomas Snider of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the age of 73.  She was born April 18, 1941 to Kenneth and Catherine (Estle) Shields, Sr.   She married Gene Thomas in 1958 who preceded her in death in 1986. She later married Harold Snider in 1991 who preceded her in death in August of 2010.  Helen worked as a seamstress for over 30 and was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Regina Stalvey and husband Chuck of Chesterfield County, VA; sons, Rodney Thomas and wife Michele of Lubbock, Timothy Thomas and wife Robbie of Windsor, CO, and Ray “Pee Wee” Thomas and wife Dawn of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Russell Shields of Wichita Falls; sister, Georgia Watts of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one brother; and three sisters.

Memorial Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at Broadway Church of Christ.
