James Larry Williams

James Larry Williams of Meadow passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at the age of 67.  He was born in Salina, Oklahoma on January 14, 1946.  Larry worked in the oil field.  He married Mary Mills on October 14, 1966 in Meadow.  He was a member of the Nifty Fifty Car Club and First Baptist Church in Meadow.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 46 years, Mary; mother, Juanita Williams of Lubbock; son, Mickey Williams and wife Angie of Ontario, Canada; two daughters, Sherry Sanford and husband Stephen of Nova Scotia, Canada and Becky Contreras and husband Richard of Brownfield; three brothers, Jimmy of Sweeney, Dean of Lubbock and Eddie of Smyer; four sisters, Linda Atkins of Florida, Anita Kimbrell, Edna Kimbrell, and Tena Williams, all of Lubbock; and seven grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, E. G. Williams and two grandchildren, Timothy Reynero and Leia Williams.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
